Overview

The Resilient Futures Consortium is dedicated to spearheading transformative change across several critical domains: Climate Action and energy transition, Digital Transformation, and addressing broader Global Challenges. Our approach is rooted in the belief that through unity, innovation, and strategic action, we can surmount the multifaceted issues facing our world today. Central to our efforts are three key initiatives that span across all streams:

  • Innovation Challenges: A platform for unleashing collective creativity and innovation, aiming to spark groundbreaking usable solutions through technology, sustainability, and social innovation.

  • Policy Labs: Rapid, anticipatory policy design efforts focused on identifying and surfacing forward-thinking policies that ensure safety, responsibility, and enhanced stakeholder agency in light of emerging innovations.

  • Knowledge Hub: A comprehensive repository of research, insights, and best practices dedicated to empowering change-makers and informing global initiatives.

Digital Transformation

The Digital Transformation stream of the Resilient Futures Consortium aims to harness the transformative power of technology to create a more equitable, accessible, and sustainable future. In an era defined by rapid technological change, our goal is to ensure that digital advancements serve as a force for good, empowering communities, enhancing individual agency, and bridging the digital divide.

Climate Change & Energy Transition

One of the preeminent challenges of our time is to stop and then reverse the impacts of climate change. While it is widely recognized that the key to stopping climate change is to rapidly eliminate fossil fuel emissions, the world is not on track to accomplish this task in a timely manner. While renewable energy (RE) is now generally less expensive than fossil fuel (FF) energy for electricity generation, the rapid rise in deployment of RE has not yet led to a global decrease of FF use.
